Anaheim sets up tourist program
The Anaheim City Council has earmarked $90,000 of the city’s Resource Maintenance District funds for customer service training.
The voluntary “be nice to tourists” training program is being offered to policemen, firemen, cab drivers and hotel employees. Participants will also learn of Anaheim’s history and will receive a certificate upon completion.
The Anaheim Council is hopeful that the program will elevate Anaheim’s tourist standing.
